The class will focus on plan review and onsite inspections of Type One Hoods and UL 300 Fire Systems. We will discuss the importance of a thorough plan review and how to inspect the system when certifying the systems for compliance. We will discuss in depth what is UL 300 and how it relates to the International Building Code, International Fire Code, NFPA, and the listing requirements per the manufacturers.
