IAFC Community Risk Reduction Conference

Attached is a flyer for the first ever IAFC Fire and Life Safety Section Community Risk Reduction Leadership (CRR) Conference March 24-26, in Reno, NV. The International Association of Fire Chiefs (IAFC) supports our section within the organization as one of the larger and growing sections within the IAFC.  Community Risk Reduction isn’t just a buzz word in the fire service, it’s a way of life. The fire service is changing and the Fire and Life Safety Section (FLSS) is an important piece in keeping you up to date on issues affecting your community.

Training Opportunity - NFA Fire Inspection Principles I (N0390)

This 6-Day Off-Campus course introduces the student to the fundamental methodology for application of fire and life safety codes and standards.  Although it contains many of the basic principles of code enforcement, more experienced code inspectors and officials might find it useful as a review of essential methodologies and as a useful update to current code enforcement applications.  Please review the FEMA-NFA website for specific details.
